Race Briefing 2026

Competitors taking part in the 10k Road Race, Duathlon, Aquathlon and Relay Triathlon, please click on the link above.

Race information

Race maps for each category are available on the race web page.  Please make a note of how many laps you will need to complete for the bike and the run and think about how you will keep track of them!

The triathlon race briefing video on the race web page provides full details of what happens on the day, where everything is, as well as a walk through the course.  If you find it helpful, there is a suggested kit list in our useful links and advice.

Race briefings for the relay, aquathon, duathlon and 10k road race will be emailed to the competitors before the event.

Please note that all junior entrants must attend the mandatory race briefing at the time shown above.  These briefings will be held in the indoor track and the children then taken directly to the pool.

British Triathlon Race Pace
In line with British Triathlon rules, if you don’t have BTF membership you will have purchased a Race Pass along with your entry to the Crystal Palace Triathlon and this provides cover for you on the day of the race. Existing BTF members will not have purchased a race pass as part of their event registration, and so refunds are no longer issued on race day.

Race T-shirts
If you purchased a race t-shirt with your entry, these will be available for you to collect on the day next to Registration. There will also be t-shirts available to buy on the day, subject to availability of sizes.  Please note we cannot reserve t-shirts in advance.

Race photography
My Sport Photos will be photographing all the action throughout your race on 10th May.  Subscribe on their website now to be the first to see your photos! Photos will be available online within 24 hours at mysportphotos.

Parking and spectators

For the 2026 race, the main car park (via the entrance on Terrace Straight) remains closed to all vehicles. If you are planning to arrive by car, the Sydenham car park and Penge/Thicket Road car park remain open or you’ll need to find on-street parking in the surrounding roads to the park. Check for parking restrictions before arriving and give yourself plenty of time to park and walk over to the registration area.

This map shows our recommended routes for walking into the park. Volunteers will be available at the main entrance to guide you to the registration area.

Spectators are very welcome and this is a great race for being able to see your participant multiple times.  Spectators will not be allowed in the pool area due to lack of space.  There are plenty of places around the park where you will be able to see both the bike and run course. The adults and most junior categories will be doing multiple laps. Have a look at the spectator guide and course maps to decide where to position yourselves!

Results and Prizes
Live provisional results will be available online on the day.

Trophies will be awarded for the junior categories, with presentations taking place for each category as soon as the results have had initial validation.  Please stay around for the presentation which will take place near the finish line in the stadium. If you are unable to stay, we can post any awards after the race for £5 to cover postage & packing.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday 10th May
